DIRECCIÓN DE OPERACIONES
Tiene como objetivo ejercer las acciones operativas para el cumplimiento de las normas, requisitos y procedimientos, tendientes a asegurar la condición fitosanitaria, la calidad e inocuidad de los productos y subproductos vegetales e insumos de uso agrícola destinados al mercado interno y externo a través de las Oficinas de Punto de Inspección (OPI).
DEPARTAMENTOS:
La Dirección cuenta con un Sistema de Gestión de Calidad que desarrolla acciones técnicas especializadas a fin de implementar y mantener el Sistema de Gestión de Calidad para la Norma ISO/IEC 17020 en el SENAVE dentro de sus dependencias
- Dpto. de Certificación Fitosanitaria
Realiza las certificación fitosanitaria de exportación de productos y sub productos vegetales para asegurar a la ONPF (Organización Nacional de Protección Fitosanitaria) del país importador, que los envíos exportados o reexportados, cumplen con los requisitos fitosanitarios de importación

- Dpto. de Inspección General
Supervisa las acciones operativas realizadas en los puntos de inspección a fin de precautelar el cumplimiento de las normativas y medidas fitosanitarias y de calidad e inocuidad de productos y subproductos vegetales nacionales e internacionales y sus respectivos procedimientos.

- Oficinas de Punto de Inspección-OPI:
Las OPI tienen la tarea de organizar y ejecutar actividades técnicas y administrativas relativas a las inspecciones, en un espacio físico determinado y autorizado.
El horario de atención de las OPI establecidos en Pasos de Frontera, Áreas de Control Integrado (ACI) y Aeropuertos es de 07:00 a 19:00 horas.
El horario de atención de las OPI establecidas en Puertos Privados es de 07:00 a 18:00 horas.

Departamentos
El Departamento de Sanidad Vegetal y Biologia Molecular DLSVBM realiza el diagnostico e identificación de plagas de importancia agrícola y forestal, en productos y sub productos vegetales, provenientes de actividades de monitoreos a campo, de productos que ingresan al territorio nacional desde los diferentes puntos de Ingreso al país y la certificación de productos para la exportación.
El Departamento de Laboratorio de Semillas y Calidad Vegetal DLSyCV, realiza muestreo, ensayos físicos, fisiológicos y bioquímicos para determinar la calidad de las semillas.
EL Departamento de Muestreo Laboratorial Especializado, DMLE, realiza apoyo y supervisión de muestreo de insumos de uso agrícolas, productos vegetales y biológicos llevados a cabo por las distintas dependencias del SENAVE, a fin que las mismas se realicen de manera eficaz según normativas vigentes
